Payments, Cancellation and Refund Policy

Our payment, cancellation and refund terms for IDE subscriptions and AI usage credits.

Effective date: October 25, 2026

This policy is provided in English. The Korean original prevails unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Contents

1. Scope

This policy applies to paid cocode IDE subscriptions and credits purchased for AI usage from Cocode Inc. (the “Company”). Mandatory legal provisions that are more favorable to the customer take precedence.

An IDE subscription provides access to the features of a plan for the paid period. Paid credits are units purchased for AI usage. Complimentary credits issued for trials, promotions or compensation are tracked separately. Usage sold as part of a paid product is not arbitrarily classified as complimentary.

Credits may only be used within the service and cannot be transferred to other users or used for external payments. Refunds of purchase payments remain available under this policy.

2. Automatic renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the price and interval shown at checkout. You may cancel renewal at any time through the subscription management feature, where available, or by emailing dev@cocode.im. A cancellation received before the next billing time prevents that renewal. Any charge caused by our processing delay will be refunded in full.

After cancelling renewal, you retain access until the end of the paid period. To end the current period immediately and receive a refund, request early termination and a refund. Cancelling a subscription does not forfeit separately purchased paid credits. You may request a refund of unused paid credits even if AI access is restricted after the subscription ends.

Subscription price increases and conversions from free access to paid recurring billing are subject to the advance notice and consent procedures required by applicable law.

3. IDE subscription refunds

If you request a refund within 7 days of payment and have not used the paid features for that billing period, we refund that payment in full. More favorable statutory withdrawal periods and starting dates take precedence. You may also request early termination and a refund for the unused period after using the service or after 7 days.

Refund = the amount actually paid for the subscription period × unused period ÷ total subscription period. The unused period is measured in hours from the time we receive your early termination and refund request. The final refund is rounded up to the nearest Korean won. Our processing delay does not count as additional usage.

Discounted and annual subscriptions are calculated using the amount actually paid. We do not reprice past access at an undiscounted rate or charge an early termination penalty. Subscription access ends upon early termination. Charges for separately purchased credits are not deducted again from the subscription refund.

If a subscription includes paid AI usage, the price allocation and refund calculation for IDE access and AI usage are disclosed before purchase. The time-based rule applies to IDE access and the unused paid credit rule applies to AI usage, without double deductions. If no separate allocation was disclosed, the time-based rule above applies to the subscription without an additional deduction for included usage.

4. Paid credit refunds and consumption order

Unused paid credit purchases are refundable in full at the amount actually paid. If partially used, the unused balance is refundable. Refund = the amount actually paid for that purchase × remaining paid credits ÷ total paid credits in that purchase. The final refund is rounded up to the nearest Korean won.

Multiple purchases are calculated separately using each purchase payment and usage record. Discounted purchases use the discounted amount actually paid. No refund or payment-processing fee is deducted. Credits corresponding to the refunded amount are removed.

Credits used for normally delivered service are not refundable solely for a change of mind. Billing errors, service failures, delivery that differs from the contract and statutory withdrawal rights are handled under the applicable correction or refund rules.

Paid credits have no usage expiry date. Expiry dates for complimentary credits are disclosed when issued; complimentary credits themselves have no cash refund value. Applicable complimentary credits are used first, followed by paid credits in purchase order. Purpose-restricted complimentary credits only apply to eligible usage.

5. AI usage and billing

AI models provided through Amazon Bedrock and other integrations may consume different amounts of credits based on input and output tokens, caching, images or other model-specific processing units. We disclose model-specific rates in the service before use. Customer charges follow those disclosed rates and may differ from external providers’ costs.

Agents may make multiple model calls within the scope of a task you authorize. We disclose the billing method and usage limits before execution and make usage records available. If you stop a task, only usage normally processed up to that point may be charged; unused estimates and reserved credits are released.

Failed requests that deliver no result because of a Company or integrated-provider outage, and duplicate calls or charges caused by system errors, are not billed or have their credits restored. A result differing from your expectations does not automatically entitle you to a refund for normally processed usage. Rights concerning defects or failure to deliver promised functionality remain unaffected.

Rate changes are disclosed before taking effect and are not applied retroactively to completed usage. Paid AI execution is restricted when the balance is insufficient; no additional payment is taken without separate consent. If automatic top-ups are offered, they require separate consent to the trigger, amount and limits and can be disabled at any time.

6. Billing errors, outages and discontinuation

Duplicate payments and erroneous recurring charges after cancellation attributable to the Company are refunded in full. If an outage prevents paid feature access, we assess its scope and duration and refund the affected fees or provide an agreed extension or other remedy. Additional statutory rights remain unaffected.

If an AI model is discontinued, we explain available alternatives without requiring you to use them and accept refund requests for unused paid credits. If the entire service closes, we refund unused subscription periods and unused paid credits.

If the service differs from its description, advertising or contract, you may exercise statutory withdrawal rights within 3 months of supply and within 30 days of discovering, or reasonably being able to discover, the discrepancy.

7. Requesting and processing a refund

You may request a refund or cancel a subscription by emailing dev@cocode.im. We verify only the minimum necessary information, such as your account email, payment date and order reference. We do not request full card numbers or passwords. We explain the eligible payment and refund calculation.

Statutory withdrawals are refunded within 3 business days of the legally applicable starting date, such as the date of withdrawal. Internal review does not reset that deadline. Other refunds under this policy are also normally processed within 3 business days of receiving the request.

Refunds are processed as full or partial cancellations to the original payment method through payment processors such as Toss Payments. If this is unavailable, we agree an appropriate alternative with you, such as a transfer to an account in your name. Card balance restoration and receipt of funds after cancellation depend on the card issuer or financial institution.

When you delete your account, we explain any unused paid balance and how to request a refund. Account deletion alone does not extinguish refund rights.
