Installation Method

  1. Open the downloaded DMG file.

  2. Drag the app to the Applications folder.

  3. Run the app from the Applications folder.

Files that are not signed or notarized may trigger a security warning. Check the official source and determine whether to allow it in the Privacy & Security settings of your system.

Windows

EXE / MSIX

Installation Method

  1. Download the file and check if the extension is EXE or MSIX.

  2. For EXE, follow the instructions of the installation wizard after running it. For MSIX, check the certificate installation guide below first.

  3. After installation, run the app from the Start menu.

The default download prioritizes EXE among the latest files. If there is no EXE in the latest distribution, MSIX may be downloaded.

If a security warning appears, first verify the official source and publisher. Your organization's security policy may restrict installations.

MSIX requires Windows 10, version 1903 or later. For self-signed packages, register the certificate in the Trusted People (TrustedPeople) store before installation. Only register certificates from verified sources.

Linux

Portable ZIP

Execution libraries for WebKitGTK and GStreamer that match your distribution are required.

Linux Download

Installation Method

  1. Extract all files from the ZIP into one folder and keep the libraries and data folder together.

  2. If execution permission is not granted in the extracted folder, run chmod +x cocode.

  3. Run the app with ./cocode from the terminal in the same folder.

It is a portable ZIP, not an installation package. If you encounter library errors, install WebKitGTK and GStreamer along with the necessary media plugins using your distribution's package manager.
